Marvin Fletcher Pryor, 74, of Goochland, died March 13, 1999 at his home. He was born July 28, 1924 in Goochland County, a son of the late Alfred F. and Grace Brown Pryor. Marvin was a retired Forest Warden of Goochland County with 36 years of service, a lifetime member of Hadensville Volunteer Fire Company No. 6 and a lifetime member of Forest Grove Christian Church. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mary Ellen Pryor of Goochland; one son, Marvin Sherwood Pryor and his wife, Libbie of Goochland; one daughter, Lynn P. Webster and husband, Marvin of Glen Allen; two brothers, Alfred Junior Pryor and his wife, Regina of Richmond, and Brown F. Pryor and his wife, Lillian of Goochland; and five grandchildren, Brandy and Noelle Pryor, Douglas, Mary Katherine and Pamela Webster. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at Forest Grove Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. Wayne Martin. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Forest Grove Christian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 31, Hadensville, Va. 23067. Sheridan Funeral Home of Kents Store, in charge of arrangements.
