Anthony Lindsay Jr. served for British in the French and Indian War, 1754. Lived with family near Eldersburg, Maryland
until 1767. Moved to Baltimore Co., Maryland, in 1767. Moved to Frederick Co., Maryland, in 1774. Served in Virginia
militia, 1777. Moved family in early 1779 to Buffalo Creek area of Upper Monongahela Valley, Virginia (Pennsylvania also
claimed jurisdiction of this area). Shortly thereafter moved to Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania. In 1784, family moved to
Hayden's Station, in what was then part of Fincastle Co., Virginia, near what is now Frankfort, Kentucky. In 1790, built
a fort and established Lindsay's Station in what is now Scott Co., Kentucky. Died and was buried there in 1808.

John Charles Lindsay, while a resident of Frederick Co., Maryland, joined the Militia as a private in September 1777.
In 1779 he moved with his family to Pennsylvania, then in 1780 to Buffalo Creek, Pennsylvania/Virginia. In 1781 they
moved to Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania. During this time he served with the military guarding against Indians on the
frontier.
In 1784, John Lindsay moved with his family and other relatives to Fayette Co., Virginia, which is now part of Henry
Co., Kentucky. He stayed in Henry Co. until 1836, when he deeded his farm to son Nathaniel Lindsay and went to live his
remaining years with son Cyrus Lindsay in Hancock Co., Kentucky.

Co., Indiana Territory sometime before 1806, and then to Monroe Co., Indiana sometime before 1820.
