62. Francis Fontaine Jr. "Frank" ^{1, 2} (Francis Fontaine , James Fontaine , James Fontaine , Jacques , Jean , Gilles , Arthur , Jean , Guy , Jean ) was born in 1721 in St Margaret's Parish, VA. He died before 1790 in New Bern, Craven Co., NC.

Was apprenticed to a carpenter about 1736. Completed his apprenticeship in 1743 and moved to New Bern, North Carolina, with his brother, John, where they became house joiners. Later moved to Dobbs County, North Carolina sometime before 1769 and remained there until at least January, 1773. Subsequently moved to Charleston Precinct, and Edistoe, S.C.,

Francis married Ann Jasper ^{1, 2} in 1751/1779 in New Bern, Craven Co., NC. Ann was born in 1712/1734 in NC. She died in 1756/1821 in SC.

They had the following children:

+	150	M	i	Francis Fontaine III was born in 1746. He died in 1783.
	151	M	ii	John Fontaine. Moved to Wilkes County, GA about 1799.
+	152	M	iii	Thomas Fontaine was born about 1752.
+	153	F	iv	Mary Fontaine was born on 24 Dec 1753. She died in 1814.
+	154	M	v	Peter Benjamin Fontaine was born in 1754.
+	155	F	vi	Lucy Fontaine.
	156	F	vii	Sally Fontaine.
