Louis J. HOUSH, 83, died Sunday at a local convalescent hospital.

He lived at 150 Silverado Trail.

He was born Nov. 27, 1985, in Oregon House, Calif.

Mr. Housh worked in a cannery as foreman for many years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 588 in Oakland.

He was married in Berkeley in 1959.

Survivors include sons Lloyd of Santa Clara and Glen of Berkeley, a stepdaughter, Velma Pennington of Yountville, one brother, Fred of Milpitas and several grandchildren. His wife died in April. Friends are invited to attend the funeral 11 a. m. Thursday at Richard Pierce Funeral service. The Rev. Erwin Bollinger will officiate. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Oakland.

Irene N. HOUSH, 74, a Napa resident since 1970, died Saturday at a local convalescent hospital after a long illness.

She was born in Cerro Gordo, Ill., and moved to Shenodoah, Iowa, with her parents when very young. She grew up in Iowa then came to Oakland in 1937 and was married there in 1959.

Mrs. HOUSH came to Napa to be near her family.

Survivors include her husband, Louis of Napa, one daughter, Velma PENNINGTON of Yountville, sisters Hazel FORSYTHE of Napa. Vivian SEABACK of Lafayette and Jessie DeVOL of Salem, Ore., one brother, Charles BOYD of Oklahoma and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Richard Pierce Funeral Service. The Rev. Erwin F. Bollinger will officiate. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Oakland. The family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Napa County branch of the American Cancer Society.
